Christmas at the Godsey House

We spent Christmas afternoon at the Godsey House.

We took part in the traditional "Garbage Can" gifts for the kids. Don't worry, they don't really come from a garbage can. We used to do this at my Grandparent's house growing up. My parents go out and buy a bunch of gifts for the kids... lay them all out on the floor... and each kids takes a turn choosing a gift until all of the gifts are gone. The kids love it.

After that was the normal running around of the kids, and eating and chatting of the adults.

Logan brought Tag over to show his cousins. He wasn't sure about letting them actually hold it though.

Sophie: Come on Logan, let me hold Tag.

Logan: No! And don't you try anything either Rylan.

Sophie: Maybe if I just slowly reach in there...

Sophie: Sweet success!
