Family Pictures

I bought some new picture frames for our dining room wall. They have been sitting on the floor in the dining room, leaning against the wall, for a few weeks now. Tom won't hang them up for me until I put pictures in them. He also won't hang up the sconces until he hangs up the picture frames. The big empty wall yells at me every morning and pressures me to find pictures to fill those frames. The problem though, is that I could not find any good family pictures to put in there. We have some that I like, but they are from a couple years ago and I want something more recent.

Hmm... sounds like a perfect excuse to finally buy the wireless remote that I have been wanting for my camera. It came in the mail the other day and we headed out to a state park about 30 minutes away. It was a beautiful state park and a nice sunny day. The only problem was that I didn't want it that sunny. We went pretty late in the day, but the sun was still very bright and very high up in the sky. Fine.

The remote worked great and I would definitely recommend it to all my Rebel friends out there, but the frustrating thing for me is that you can't choose what you want your camera to auto focus on. The focus was definitely off in some of the pictures. Next time I will use manual focus instead.

All of those words just to show you these pictures. I have really been making short stories long lately. Here are some of the pictures. I really did try to narrow them down. We took 270 pictures that day.

Not true, not true. You take great pictures. Not all of those were taken with the remote. Only the ones where all three of us are in the pictures.
