Valentine Surprise

Tom wouldn't tell me what he was planning for Valentine's Day, but I guessed (from little hints that he didn't mean to let drop) that we were going out of town somewhere. I was right. After Tom got home from work on Valentine's Day we packed up and headed down to Port Orchard for the night. The next morning we took off to go somewhere (I still didn't know where) and left Logan with Grandparents. After a very, very, very long drive (although it didn't seem that long because we were listening to Harry Potter. Thank you Byron and Jenn!) we arrived at our destination... Newport Beach. Tom had booked us a hotel right on the beach. We spent the weekend there and headed back to Port Orchard on Sunday to pick up Logan and then head home. Here are some pictures... of course...

After the lighthouse we headed down to the beach there where Tom took pictures of some marine wildlife.

We also checked out an aquarium. There we found the ugliest thing I have ever seen.
