Hawaii - Day Three

I had good intentions of updating this while we were on vacation. I guess I was having too much fun though and didn't want to be bothered by it. :) Now that we are home (and Logan is actually taking a nap) I will continue with my updates.

Tom had meetings again on Day Three. I, unfortunately, woke up when he did around 7:00 am. (I don't think that I slept in at all the whole time we were in Hawaii. I was really looking forward to it, but my internal clock must have been messed up because of the time change.) I went downstairs and got breakfast and read for a while. Then I went down to the beach (with my pool card for towels this time) and read for a few hours. It was SO nice just relaxing. I then had intentions of taking some pictures, but instead went back to the hotel room and fell asleep for a little bit until Tom got back.

After Tom got back from his meetings we went down to the beach again and swam in the Ocean. The waves were a lot calmer that day and we didn't swim there for that long. We got in the pool afterwards and swam for a while there until we had to get ready for that evening.

We had another cocktail party/awards presentation with Tom's company that night, and a luau afterwards. The luau was alright, but actually got a little boring. It was supposed to be on the beach, but it was raining and had to be moved to someplace covered. Here are a few pictures. We weren't able to get any good ones because of the way everything was situated.





The last part of the luau was when the "fire guy" came out. That was pretty cool. I was standing right next to a worker who was holding a fire extinguisher and looked like he was ready to pounce at any second. Here are far too many pictures of the "fire guy".
