Merry Christmas

We did something really strange this year.
We spent Christmas at home.
Seriously, this is the first Christmas that we have spent at home since we were married... and I loved it! Don't get me wrong, I love spending the holidays with our big families, but I have always wanted to spend Christmas Day hanging out with just our little family. Tom, on the other hand, thinks that is a little crazy.
The last couple of years we cheated and celebrated Christmas a day early, then drove to our families house that night and got to wake up and have Christmas all over again. It was a good compromise, but I hated having to pack up and leave a few hours after we opened all of our cool presents.
This year presented us with the perfect opportunity for me to get my wish. We got to wake up Christmas morning in our house and then spend the rest of the day in our pajamas, just playing.
Ahh... it was so nice.
(Don't worry, we will still get to see family. We had Tom's parents up for Christmas Eve dinner and we will celebrate Christmas with my family on New Years Day.)

Oh pretty pretty picture! I love it!
I'm glad you got to stay home. We did, too and it was wonderful!
That was me, random it didn't leave my name! I signed in and everything!
Thanks Brit. Although, I should give credit to The Pioneer Woman's Photoshop actions. You should have seen the original. Thank goodness for Photoshop.
