Yachats

I have been dragging my feet with this post. I am not sure why. Maybe it is because I am not happy with my pictures. I am determined to not stand up until this is published. Here we go...

A couple weekends ago we headed to the town of Yachats. It is a small town on the Oregon coast. The occasion was Andy and Lindsay's wedding. We rented a house on the beach and hung out with family for a few days.

I love the beach. I want to retire in a little house on the beach. I would prefer a warmer one though were you can actually swim in the ocean without getting hypothermia.

The wedding was beautiful, of course. It was extremely windy, but that just added to the beauty of Lindsay's dress. She did look freezing though.

The kids all had a blast on the dance floor at the reception. I didn't know Logan had so many great dance moves.

On our last day there, I realized that I hadn't even taken my camera out of the bag. I was determined to get some pictures, so I grabbed the camera and Logan and we headed out to the backyard. It was the windiest day yet! Logan was not happy with me and it took a lot to get any pictures of him not looking grumpy. It was also noon and the lighting was terrible for pictures.

Here are some I could salvage, sort of.

(Edited to add: I was just showing Logan these pictures on my blog. When I showed him this one I said, "See you threw the horse shoe." He said, "Yes, but I quite missed it.")

It was a great long weekend. Thank you Andy and Lindsay for giving us an excuse for a little vacation and congratulations!!!
