Killer Bumblebees

Logan has recently acquired a fear of bees.
A great fear.
I believe it started when he saw how scared one of his older cousins (I won't mention any names) was of bees a couple weeks ago... but who knows.
This past weekend, Logan, Sophie and I were swinging over at Jaxson and Sophie's house. There was a big, fat, harmless bumblebee flying around us, checking things out. I ignored it and kept swinging, trying to lean back far enough for my hair to brush the dirt. (A game Sophie and I were playing.)
"Nope," Sophie would tell me, "it didn't touch the ground yet."
Logan saw the bumblebee and his face turned white.
"Mom," he whispered, "there are bees."
I told him that it was just a bumblebee and that it wouldn't hurt us. He bought that, or so I thought, and kept swinging. His eyes never stopped looking for that bumblebee though.
A few minutes later, he got up from his swing and said that he was going inside.
"Why?” I asked.
"Because of the bees," was his whispered reply.
I explained to him that the bee was not going to hurt us if we just left it alone.
"It's just looking for food," I said.
"But Mom," Logan said quietly, as he moved his face as close to mine as he could, "Bees food are people."

LOL! That is hilarious!
I don't like bees either, they sting me. But coming between me and a good swing, never :)
I love that story! That is just too funny!
