Why do you blog?

I am glad that you asked. I have been thinking about that lately. There are some posts that I write and then debate publishing. Sometimes they are too personal... sometimes they sound like bragging... most of the time they are just plain boring. When I started my blog I was looking for somewhere to share pictures of my adorable son to family members who were far away. It seemed like the perfect place to do that. I have since discovered how you can easily turn your blog into a book, and therefore it has turned into a type of journal. I am terrible at keeping a journal. I rarely write in it. When I do write, it is a way for me to vent and work through issues. If you read my journal you would think that I had a dreadful life. I don't though and don't want my children to think that (although I might just burn all of my journals so nobody can read them). I don't usually vent on my blog, so I figured that it could represent the good in my life.

So there you have it. I blog to keep a record of my family's life. If that is boring or bragging or just plain lame... so be it!
